Shannon’s Makeover at RMA

Our RMA ‘Nominate Your Man’ Contest has come to an end, and we have consulted with and treated with our winner, Shannon Meehan.

Shannon has an incredible story, and his wife Amanda, who nominated him, was kind enough to share his story.

“My husband is medically retired from the army during his 15-month deployment in Iraq. He stepped on an IED and suffered so many injuries. Although they were internal injuries, (shrapnel in arm, loss of hearing in one ear, traumatic brain injury, ruptured discs in his back, they have definitely made him feel aged and tired. He wrote a book  about his experiences in Iraq. It was published. He spent a year on a book tour reliving the whole thing over and over again spreading the word so people understood what actually is going on for the soldier during deployment and what they have to go through.

After the book tour ended he went back to school and was able to do an Accelerated    program to get his masters and certification in teaching at Villanova. He is now an English teacher at a high school.  Shannon has over come so many hard times in his 36 years.  He is always so supportive of anything that I need for myself to feel and look better. I wanted to give him an opportunity to make him feel as good as he makes me feel.”

We were so inspired by Shannon’s incredible story, and we wanted to spoil him!

Shannon was treated by our Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Charlot Byck, for a Dermaplane treatment and then a HydraFacial.

Afterwards, he saw our Aesthetic Nurse Injector, Tracy, for some subtle Botox, or “Bro-tox.”
